The Rules
* The contest is open to all ages
*You may provide your own music
*Contestants will be judged in three categories for an overall score
*Contestants will be notified if they move on to the semi-finals on Monday, September 29th on the radio and contacted by phone.
*20 people will be selected to move on to the semi-finals which will be held Tuesday, October 7th at the Elberton 12 County Fair.
*You must provide your own performance track/music for the fairground.
*You must perform without the use of a karaoke prompter, from memory from the semi-finals on.
*Those who make it to the final competition will compete on the mainstage at the fair on Saturday evening, October 11th where there will be ONE winner.
*Decisions of the judge are final.

Make plans now and come early to register and get the best seats in the house!
Bring your family and friends to cheer you on, the audience response will be one of the determining factors in selecting the contestants to move on to semi-finals. Last year we had 36 people come down and give it their best shot and they all did fabulous. Only 20 can be selected to move on to the semi-finals.
So start singing in the shower, start singing in your car and come down to Whitney's to give it your best shot to compete for prize money and trophy. Last year's winner got a big check for $500.00 from Whitney's!
We got the great food, great sound and the talent will follow! Come down and participate in this years Elberton Idol!
